Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of BioData Maker at shaadi-biodata.com. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

BioData Maker provides an online tool that helps individuals create marriage biodata documents. The service generates PDF and PNG files from information you enter in your browser. The service is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be available at all times, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Payments

• 4 templates — Classic, Royal Red, Saffron, and Minimalist — are permanently free. No payment is required to use them.
• Each of the 28 premium templates costs ₹29 (Indian Rupees) per template, per payment. This is a one-time payment — there are no subscriptions, no recurring charges, and no auto-renewals.
• Paying for one template unlocks only that specific template — it does not unlock any other premium templates.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service.
• Unlocked templates are saved permanently in the browser you used to pay — they remain unlocked until you manually clear your browser data. We email you the PDF immediately after payment as your permanent record.

Refund policy

• Refunds are available within 7 days of payment if: (a) the PDF was not received by email, (b) the PDF was corrupted or unusable, or (c) you were charged but the template did not unlock.
• To request a refund, email [email protected] with your Razorpay payment ID. We will process the refund within 24 hours with no questions asked.
• Refunds are not available if you simply changed your mind after successfully downloading the PDF, or if you paid for the wrong template by mistake — but write to us anyway and we will do our best to help.

Your content

• You own your biodata content entirely. We do not claim any rights to the information you enter, the photos you upload, or the biodata documents you create.
• As described in our Privacy Policy, your biodata content is never transmitted to our servers. It is processed entirely in your browser and stored only in your browser's localStorage.
• By entering information into BioData Maker, you represent that you have the right to use that information and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Prohibited use

You agree not to use BioData Maker to:

• Create fraudulent, deceptive, or impersonating biodata profiles intended to mislead others in matrimonial contexts.
• Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or disable the payment system or template unlock mechanism.
• Use automated tools to scrape, abuse, or overload the service.
• Use the service for any purpose that is illegal under applicable Indian law.

Violation of these terms may result in permanent blocking of your access to the service without notice or refund.

Intellectual property

The BioData Maker templates, user interface design, source code, and brand are owned by BioData Maker and protected under applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the templates or the service for commercial purposes without written permission.

Limitation of liability

BioData Maker is a tool that helps you format information you provide. We are not responsible for:

• Any decisions made by third parties (families, matrimonial platforms, individuals) based on a biodata created using this tool.
• Any inaccuracies in the content of your biodata — you are responsible for what you enter.
• Any loss of data caused by browser clearing, expiry of the 4-hour form-data TTL, or device failure.
• Service downtime, maintenance, or temporary unavailability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BioData Maker's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
